        Q:Got this fan last month - the remote only consistently works when standing near the fan and being close to receiver. I've checked the wiring is correct and the frequencies are the same. What am I doing wrong? Is there something wrong with the receiver?

          A:  Thank you for your question. Each remote and receiver pair should be set to a unique dip switch settings to ensure that each remote only controls the intended fan. This is covered in detail in the complete installation video located with the alternate images on the product page online (fast forward to the 4:08 mark).

                Q:This says it's an indoor fan, but my contractor hung it in my hard roofed lanai outside. 2 walls are screened in and 2 walls are solid. Think this will last?

                A:  Thank you for your question. This fan is designed for indoor use only. If installed in a covered lanai, the fan will be exposed to outdoor humidity which can lead to blade and motor damage.

                  A:  Thank you for your question. Technically yes, but we would not recommend installing like that. This fan has a color temperature changing light kit that can only be controlled via the included remote. If the light is hardwired to a switch, the color temperature may change if the switch is turned off/on too rapidly.

                    A:  Thank you for your question. The fan is not a smart fan and does not include any smart features like app control. Smart features can be added by adding the Bond smart wifi hub. The Bond hub will sync with the remote and allow for control via the Bond app or via voice control once integrated with Google or Alexa smart devices.
