Q:Thinking of using these on seat backs. Need to verify dimensions in relation to the ties. If I tie on the top of chair, is the 18" dimension vertically down from there?

A: Thank you for your question! These are made to be use as seat pads. The dimensions are 18 in. L from back where ties are to the front where no ties are. Total Dims are 18 L x 20 W x 2.5 in H.
