A:  All of the hardware is included and yes the holes are pre drilled.

A:  I did use glue in the assembly.

A:  Used a little wood glue. We chose not to paint it

A:  Wood glue is not required but you could definitely use if if you like. As for paint any type of paint that works on wood will work. It depends on where you plan on using it. If you plan to use it or leave it outside you'd want something that says it's for outdoor use. Otherwise any paint that is meant to be used on wood will work.

A:  The inside dimensions are 16.5 in x 5.5 in

A:  Inside dimensions: 7" wide x 17" length

A:  Depending on what you finished it with it,could be,either. I just stained mine its,going inside

A:  The surface should be primed and then satin or semi-gloss latex paint is ideal.

A:  Ha, I just saw the date this question was asked!!!! So, for future inquiries the finished dimensions are: 18.5" x 8.75" and 5.5"H side panel and 9.75"H from bottom to top handle.

A:  The bottom was too wide and too short

A:  18 1/2" ( L) X 9" ( W) X 5" (D) (Tray) Sides are taller.
