Do you need wood glue to put together? What kind of paint works best?

AnswerWood glue is not required but you could definitely use if if you like. As for paint any type of paint that works on wood will work. It depends on where you plan on using it. If you plan to use it or leave it outside you'd want something that says it's for outdoor use. Otherwise any paint that is meant to be used on wood will work.

I had been looking for a wooden groom tote but was only finding ones that were to expensive! This was easy to build and with a little spray paint it was exactly what I needed. The only thing that would make it better would be a couple of dividers. I even ordered a second one for my daughters to use on there horse. Home Depot has a fun glitter spray paint I will try for them!

I realize this is intended for a child’s project; however, the pieces are cut inconsistently and they don’t line up well. If I have to rework the whole kit, it would have been easier to just cut the pieces myself to begin with.
