A:  Hi Gary, Yes this system is normally recommended for wells, BUT we would highly recommend that you test your well first to find out your Iron and Manganese levels as the filter has limitations on how much Iron and Manganese it can handle. A:  The unit will more than adequately cover your whole house as it says. The unknown factor will be how long the filters will last based on your usage and the quality of your water supply. However the filters are not that expensive for the benefits they are providing. I placed an iSpring WSP-50 Reusable Spin Down Sediment Water Filter before the filters to catch larger particles before the filters do their work. And I see no problem if you want to add a UV filter to your system.
