Answer This Question

A:  I believe all garbage disposals are the same same size where the drain line from the dishwasher connects, so I don't think you'll need this.

by|Mar 17, 2021

A:  Hi Kev, if you're going to attach your dishwasher to your new disposer and the current hose doesn't fit the connection on the disposer, you may need a Dishwasher Connector Kit.

A:  I found out I didn’t need it, but I will keep the connect for future

                Answer This Question

A:  15 amps intermittent use, but really should only be 10 amps same usage as most home disposals are not going to draw the same power or be used as much as a heavy duty restaurant grade disposal. Why 15 amps you ask, well this has to plug into a outlet and the kind of outlet it is made to plug into is rated for 15 amps.

A:  Yes it can be hard wired. I actually purchased a plug kit because my original one was a plug in and this model leaves it up to the installer whether to hard wire or not.

A:  Hello Elpatio, Your strain relief line is typically 7/8 thick thick, but I guess it could be different on different garbage disposals. All you have to do is get your tape measure and measure it.

A:  Yes, it's very easy to install. There are two black wires coming from the cord, it has smooth & ribbed sides. You have to connect the smooth side to the black wire and the ribbed side to the white wire. The ground wire of the cord should be properly secured to the screw of the disposer. Hope this helps!
