Q:I have an outdoor fan with an integral GFCI plug. Ordinary timers trip the GFCI when the power goes off so will this heavy duty timer prevent this from happening?

A: It will if you have a 2 speed pump, leave it on low speed, not high speed or it will trip your GFIC outlet, timer only rated for 1 HP, so on low speed it won't reach over the 1 HP limit.

A: Yes. There is a hole on the back that allows it to hang on a screw that is fastened to the wall. You adjust the screw in or out so that the unit slips onto the screw but fits snug to the wall.

A: The timer is just a timed switch, on & off- you plug it into 120v, output is 120 volts.
