Answer This Question

A:  It's suction power is not as good as the Eufy. It also bounces when it goes against the nap.

A:  I have mostly tight/low carpet and it works well. I even have a thicker shag area rug and it works on that as well.

A:  Not very well at all!!!

A:  it is fantastic on carpet. It has a high and low cleaning setting that really cleans! My bedroom has never been cleaner and all I have to do is empty the trash bin every few days. Love mine!

Q:How well does this handle human hair? Does it clog easily? How often do you have to cut out the hair from the bristles?

A:  This vacuum needs to be cleaned after every few uses. We have a lot of pet hair and it does tend to clog the brush. I wouldn't advise relying on this machine to vacuum up long human hair - I think it will get wrapped around the brush and be difficult to clean. From my experience, this vac works great on dust, crumbs, small particles, etc. Because the dirt cup is small, it fills up very quickly with pet hair. I hope that helps!

A:  it really does a great job with all kinds of cleaning. We have two dogs one long hair and one short. Other than cleaning the trash basin and knocking the filter out now and then it does a fantastic job of keeping my carpets cleaned! The best part is you can control it all from an app on your phone!

Q:Does this machine hang up on cords on the floors

A:  I keep the cords our of reach so this wont happen.

      by|Dec 5, 2020

A:  it will yes. What I have done is gotten all my cords and things that it will hang up on and moved them up out of the way. Once you get a system in place you wont deal with that anymore! :)

        by|Nov 25, 2020

A:  Yes, it will catch on cords, so you'll need to lift them out of the way.

A:  Yes but very gently. I LOVE this robot.

A:  Yes it will bump into anything on the floor but pretty softly and will stop immediately with any obstruction. I try to pick up everything off the floor when i use it. Especially any cords because the front brushes stick out and will get stuck easily in something like a power cord.

A:  Not sure what you are asking. It has bumpers on the front half that alert the sweeper to stop and change direction. The bumper will not damage walls or objects.

A:  it can but it bumps them softly. The lighter color specifically white and no it will not. It will slow and turn just before bumping into things.

          by|Nov 25, 2020

A:  Yes, it will bump into objects and walls, but this is normal. You can use the included blocking strip to prevent the vacuum from going where you don't want it to go. You can also order additional strips from Kenmore if you need more. The vacuum does a pretty good job of maneuvering around objects and, when it does bump into things, it seems to do so pretty gently. It has a soft bumper around the front of the machine for this purpose. I hope that helps!

Q:How does it navigate? Is it random or in a linear path? I wish I could watch a video of it.

A:  There are a few options available. It will do edge sweeping where it follows along the wall. It will do spot cleaning where it stays in a smaller perimeter. It will also do normal cleaning where it will follow a path from one end of the area to the other end and then turn around and go back doing the next section over

A:  Mine seems to use a combination of both. It starts out linear, but changes directions when it encounters obstacles. Then it starts a new path.

A:  Linear path but can miss whole rooms if it misses the entry.

A:  the unit has a number of options. Auto will clean in patterns and move around legs of furniture etc. You can set it to edge clean as well. Its very thorough. I have several utube videos I have posted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7e34Dqv8D8&feature=share Enjoy! Its a ton of fun!

A:  Not sure the technical description for it but it works in sections. Once you turn it on it will move in a straight line till hit gets to a wall and then will turn around and move over a bit and go back the other direction. It does have some difficulty with multiple adjoining rooms, at least in my experience with it, so I typically use it in one room at a time where I close all doors to keep it contained.

A:  We have two cockapoos that don’t normally shed like some dogs do. After completing a room, we emptied the reservoir and found hair and dander. I’d say it does real well!

A:  I have two dogs. Here is what I always recommend. Do a thorough vacuum with your regular vacuum. Then send your robot vacuum out to clean on a regular routine. It really does a great job of picking up dander and dog hair! I love mine!

A:  Yes, it definitely cleans up pet hair. I have wood floors and it sucks up the hair no problem.

A:  Great on dog hair and parrot dust. My long hair winds around the roller but that happens with every vacuum I've tried.
