A: Yes

A: Yes. Up to 600 volts AC/DC, just like it says in the description. 220 is less than 600, so you're good to go.

A: This meter is Cat IV rated, that means up to 600 Volts, (with the probe covers in place).
I can verify that it woks on US standard home power 120 VAC and the 240 VAC side.
I don't have access to 50 Hz, meter manual indicates AC functions 2-600 VAC RMS (45-400Hz).
Hope this helps.

A: The instruction book does not say anything about testing diodes. It only tests continuity, and not even resistance. So I would say no. Most modern meters that can test diodes have a separate position just for that purpose. This thing is fully automatic and you do not select anything. It also only reads to whole integer values which means you cannot test flashlight batteries; it only reads 1, which could mean a dead battery or a new battery. The readout is worthless for low values. Even an auto battery is only going to read 12, which could mean a fully charged battery, or a partially discharged battery. Very poor design for this day and age.

A: No

A: The Klein Tools ET250 Voltage/Continuity Tester requires batteries to operate.
by|May 4, 2023
A: No. Because the ET60 is not a meter. It does not measure voltage; it only senses voltage levels by activating different neon lamps or other devices powered by the circuit.

A: No this meter requires batteries that come with the meter when purchased.
