      Q:Had unit for two weeks, the thermostat is erratic. I have it set at 80 and it runs until it's 75 and not accurate at other temperatures either. Is there an issue with the thermostat?

      A:  Thermostat is garbage on mine, the app says the indoor temperature is 20-30 degree higher than actual.

          A:  Same issue here. I'm not sure it has a thermostat. Stats say "Auto Cool" and I'm not sure what that means. Hopefully a company rep can answer this for us.

            A:  Do not listen to Venette she is incompetent and keeps giving one word wrong answers. If you only use it in Air Conditioning mode then according to LG no it should not need to be drained as the water should evaporate throughs the exhaust.

                Q:I just received this unit yesterday. I set the Cool temp to 70. When it reached that temperature the compressor stopped and a short time later the fan stopped. Today the fan is continuing to run full-time, not shutting off. Help?

                        Q:It worked really well last summer, but it doesn't work like last year anymore for some reason. The room simply doesn't get cold anymore. The filter is cleaned, and everything is set up based on the instruction. Not sure what else I can do. Help!

                            A:  The equipment is meant for side window. The motor might not be strong enough to vent out through a vertical pathway. The hose provided also is small.
