Questions and Answers for Lanco Ultra Siliconizer 1 Gal. 100% Acrylic Elastomeric White Reflective Roof Sealer

A:  Hi Jack, if the preious coating was 100% silicone then the answer is no, you cannot use the Ultra Siliconizer which is an elastomeric product on top of silicone, it will not adhere.

A:  Hi Tommy316, the Ultra SIliconizer Roof Sealer should not be tinted as it will change the consistency and could not work adequately.

A:  Hi A1A2, you will need 8 pails of 5 gals of the Ultra SIliconizer Roof Coating , for the application of two coatings at a ratio of 50 suare feet per gallon.

A:  Hi McPapi, yes you can you can use the Lanco Ultra Siliconizer Roof Sealer on your aluminum roof, but first, fix any cracks, seams, flashing, screws and any other standing objects with the Lanco Siliconizer Crack Fillers, and then apply the two coats of the Roof Sealer.

A:  Hi Chad, sorry but I don't think the Ultra Siliconizer will work on the canopy. Cannot recommend as we have never done any tests on it.

A:  Hi A1A2, you don't need a primer on the concrete roof. We suggest to clean the roof with Lanco Roof Restore (for it to work it's best let the product rest 15 minutes on the area), then let it dry for 24 hours to make sure it is completely dry. Fix any cracks or holes with the Lanco Siliconizer Carck Filler, let dry. And then apply the Lanco Ultra Siliconizer, two perpendicular coats at a ratio of 50 square feet per gallon and letting it dry 24 hours in between

A:  Hi Fernando, yes the Lanco Ultra Siliconizer can be applied over existing coat of the Lanco White-Seal. You should clean very well and let dry for 24 hours, before applying the Ultra Siliconizer. Remeber to apply at a ratio of 50 square feet per gallon.

A:  Hi Michael, yes you can use the Lanco Ultra Siliconizer 1 Gal. 100% Acrylic Elastomeric White Reflective Roof Sealer on asphalt patio roof. Just make sure it is at least a year old to avoid the yellow bleeding. A suggestion is to prime first with an application of the AS210, but it is optional and then apply two perpendicular coats at a ratio of 50 square feet per gallon. It is important to acquire the correct thickness for an optimal finish.

A:  Hi Seth, unfortunately we don't recommend to use on top pf a houseboat where there will also be foot traffic.

A:  Hi Ultra, yes you can use the Lanco Ultra Siliconizer on the TPO, but we highly recommend to do a adhesion test, by applying a small square in a corner, clean well and apply product, let dry 24 hours. Then next day take a piece of duct or packing tape put on top of the product and pull, if it comes out then you need to prime with Lanco Aqua-Proof.
