Henry 812 RoofSaver Clear Sealer is a shingle coating designed to provide shingle protection by extending the life of aged shingles and low-sloped mineral surfaced roll roofing by locking in granules and reducing further granule loss. RoofSaver can also be used on clay, concrete and slate roof tiles, and protects against sun, rain, wind, ice and snow. The Shingle treatment renews appearance of existing roof and stays clear over time. For 1/4 of the cost of the lowest priced shingles and 1/10th of the labor time, you can extend the life of your shingles for up to 5-years.

EC23, Henry 812 is an exterior use product only. Henry 812 is designed for use on roof shingles and low-sloped mineral surfaced roll roofing.
What is the sheen finish does it have when dry?
EC23, the sheen finish is similar to a clear coat finish but is only slightly noticeable.
Do you put one or two coats on?
Jst1, Henry 812 RoofSaver is a single coat application. Henry 812 should be applied in one thin pass. Over application of the sealer may result in streaks or uneven drying.
If this product doesn’t stop leaks what Henry product that you can spray or paint on the roof does?
Rich, roof leaks need to be addressed and repaired with a thick product like Henry 204, 208, 208R or Henry 209XR. They are all designed to repair roof leaks. We do not manufacture a coating that stops leaks on roofs especially shingled roofs.
One of the images for the product says it will make the roof look new again but I don’t see that claim anywhere else. Is this true? If so, how does it do that?
Matt, Henry 812 RoofSaver Clear Sealer Shingle Roof Coating is designed to be applied to aged shingles and stays clear over time. Since it is a clear sealer the roof looks like it is somewhat shiny and not the dull look of old shingles.

Gary, Henry 812 RoofSaver is not a leak stopper. Henry 812 is designed to extend the life of aged shingles by locking in the granules and reducing further granule loss on the shingles. The granules are the shingles first line of defense against the harmful and damaging sun's UV rays. Henry 812 can extend the life of your shingles for up to 5 years.

What i can Use to seal the shingles and protect it from leaks
Mike, Henry 812 is a sealant that helps hold the granules onto the shingles and makes them a bit more moisture resistant so that the shingles can last up to 5 years longer. Henry 812 does NOT protect the shingles from leaks.
