Q:What is the rpm on the motor for the laskco b20200 fan

Answer This Question
A: Wow! You ask a loaded question!
The volume of the air is pi (3.1416) x fan radius squared times the column length in feet.
This type fan at 1800 CFMs equals realistically about 1500 RPMs...

A: It came broken. The frame was dented, the plastic was cracked, and when plugged in it made a slight sound, but would not work. I returned it to the store.

Q:How can I buy new feet for my Lask 3633 fan
by|Jul 28, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Go to the Lasko website and navigate to "Parts & Accessories". You'll see all kinds of Lasko fans grouped by type and style. Pick the Box Fan list, then skim down the list and choose your model. Click on the picture and all the parts available or needed for that fan will pop up. (There aren't many since they're very simple fans - usually 7 or 8) You can order from there. The plastic feet are quite inexpensive - only a couple of dollars. It might pay to order some extras in case they break again so you'll have them.

Q:How does this product differ from model #3733? The white options on both models appear to be very similar (and the same price), though they have different UPC codes.

A: I have no idea. Sorry. I probably did what you already did: checked the 2 models on the webpage and set them to compare side-by-side and I didn't see any difference. I wonder if one model is a successor to the other? Maybe they weren't intended to be sold as different models but a new one and the former one?
For what it's worth, if possible check the fan in the store to see how loud it is. I bought mine intending to use it in the bedroom. But the spinning fan blades are so loud is isn't practical for sleeping. It's fine in other 'daytime' rooms, but not the bedroom. Maybe it's the way the blades are shaped. But I've had other fans that were much more quiet for the bedroom.

Q:What size Solar panel and inverter
can I use to run this fan.
If I don't have any electric on my home.

A: It's kind of a light weight --it moves around when on the floor. It needs to be set against a corner of the wall to stabilize it.

A: Your question doesn't have a simple answer since anyone considering solar power is certainly going to run more than just a fan.
The first thing to consider is this fans rating which is 120 volts and requires (at least) a 15 amp outlet. This needs to be translated into watts in order to determine how much solar (DC) power will be consumed. Your inverter converts the DC power to AC power and needs to be powerful enough to efficiently convert that power. However, if the inverter is too large for the solar array it will can't convert that power efficiently and therefore the panel (s) and inverter need to be matched relatively close.
With that in mind, a properly matched system can power one or more AC electric devices efficiently at 120 volts. But like any power supply, you need to avoid exceeding the amp rating on any given circuit.
Unfortunately, determining this rate and efficiency is going to be up to you or a solar expert who can help you decide your system by understanding exactly what and how many AC electric devices you want to run.
To help with this, I've included one of the many web pages that can help you make that determination.

A: i have measured the power demand on these 20 inch box fans with a Kill a Watt meter.
The low setting is about 75 watts and the high setting is about 105 watts.
So any small inverter would power it up. However, it will run much better, and quieter, with a pure sine wave inverter.

A: There are charts and studies showing wattage at each setting. I believe 45 to 75watts matched this fan. I think in your case it also depends on how many clouds there are…

Here are couple links to help you along, and not just with your fan, as you stated you live "off-grid". I'm sure at some point you may want more than just a fan. Good luck my friend!
