Questions and Answers for Lawn Genie 3/4 in. & 1 in. Manual Valve Repair Kit

A:  I spoke with the manufacture concerning this issue and the suggestion was to purchase an Irritrol model 205T and gut out everything from inside the valve including the valve cover and solenoid assembly and install onto the older RJ634 valve body. I am going to try that. It will save me cutting the water manifold and rebuilding it.

A:  I don't believe the kit worked for mine and its been awhile. I did end up just replacing it with another brand I purchased at Home Depot. The new one worked fine and did not require a lot of pvc work.

A:  RJ634 requires repair kit model R205TFKIT. Please check your local Irritrol and/or Toro irrigation distributor for availability.

A:  The kit did not fit my valve and returned. I did purchase another valve from Home Depot and it worked out perfect. Not much pvc to cut and not a bad job. Good luck.

A:  Thank you for your question. You will need Lawn Genie 3/4 in. Shield Cap Kit, part # L31100. You can view it online at https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lawn-Genie-3-4-in-Shield-Cap-Kit-L31100/203225590. R217104 is a commercial ¾” Anti-siphon cover assembly.

A:  The repair kit was not the one for my model. Parts were not what I needed and ended up replacing the whole new valve body which was easy.

A:  The kit did not fit my application and does come with 2 valves and 2 o rings. I just ended up replacing the old with a different valve purchased at Home Depot. Good luck and not a difficult job.

A:  I did order the kit but parts did not fit my application. I ended up replacing the whole new valve which was a good repair. Valve was inexpensive and I had the glue at the home anyway. Good luck.

A:  Yes, even though the R709 valve has been discontinued since the late eighties, the inside stem assemblies should still fit.
