A: HandyGirl1,
I've successfully used Loctite GO2 All Purpose Glue to join pieces of plexiglass together front to back and edge to edge. I also use it regularly to glue items to a plexiglass poster-board and they don't break off. Be certain to clean the surfaces thoroughly with a dry lint-free cloth before applying the glue to both surfaces. Use the GO2 sparingly so that it doesn't run or bulge from the glued joint.
