A: Thank you for the question. Loctite PL 530 Mirror, Marble and Granite Construction Adhesive is a solvent based adhesive and can damage mirrors that are not an “electro-copper plated glass mirror”. If it does not say in the description then you need to ask the mirror manufacturer.

A: you could try it depends on where it is broken and where it is, if its for a counter top, the granite and marble guys mix up a color matching epoxy that they use for seeming the pieces together on counter top that would be much better and stronger and would hide it better, i use this mostly for mirrors, but it does dry strong

Q:Will PL 530 bond a top-mount stainless steel bathroom sink rim to a glass countertop? The application is intended to bond and seal and is not weight bearing. The TDS states "one surface must be porous". If not PL530, can you recommend something else?

As your application is not weight bearing you may want to consider a silicone sealant, such as, GE Supreme Kitchen & Bath Silicone Sealant or Loctite Power Grab Ultimate Construction adhesive.

Because this is outdoors and exposed to changing environmental conditions, we would recommend trying Loctite PL Premium 3X as a more suitable adhesive. It provides a much stronger bond with a better survival rate for your intended use.

A: i would think so , as long as its sitting flat horizontally, even vertically as long as it is supported by something at bottom, i use it for big bath mirrors all the time, but they are resting on the back splash also.

Loctite PL 530 Mirror, Marble and Granite Construction Adhesive would not be the best suited product for mounting a granite plaque to cement if the intended use is a vertical mount that would be subjected to a vertical load due to weight. A better choice for this application would be a polyurethane adhesive such as Loctite PL Premium 3X Polyurethane Construction Adhesive which provide a stronger bond, but you would still need to use temporary blocking until the adhesive cures if this is a vertical mount.
