A:  when i do mirrors, i tape the mirror with painters tape to wall for at least 24 hours just to make sure it sets, now mine i always rest on the backsplash in baths or have the plastic supports at the bottom, but instructions should say how long also. I never used for anything else but mirrors sorry

A:  I am not certain exactly how long it takes to cure but I can say the next day after application it had cured. i have used it multiple times with no issues.

Bracing would be a requirement if this is a vertical application and cure times would be extended. You might consider the Loctite PL Premium Fast Grab or the Loctite PL Premium MAX as better alternatives for your project.

A:  Thank you for the question. The Loctite PL 530 Mirror, Marble and Granite Adhesive would not be recommended to repair soapstone as staining from solvents may occur. Typically, a 2-part epoxy can be used for repairing clean breaks on soapstone sculptures. In some cases, a super glue can work as well depending on the nature and scope of the repair needed. In either case the user is responsible for the results they obtain because it is not possible to guarantee results with soapstone.

A:  Thank you for the question. Loctite PL 530 Mirror, Marble and Granite Adhesive will bond a mirror to wood depending upon the type of mirror you have and the nature of the project. Keep in mind, this adhesive should not be used on mirrors that are not electro-copper plated glass mirror types or acrylic mirrors, as damage may occur. Keep in mind, mirror clips and/or mirror channels are required when using this product.

Further, gluing subfloor to a slate floor with a subfloor construction adhesive is not a good idea and is generally not recommended in industry best practices. This is not to say you cannot try, but suitable results can never be guaranteed.
