Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive may be used to bond drywall to unsealed concrete; however, for panel installations, furring strips are recommended where mechanical fasteners can be installed at least at the top and bottom of the panel. Construction adhesives should not be the sole means of support for the application described.

Q:Can this be used to glue wood casing to painted drywall
by|Apr 15, 2024

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question. Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive may be used for the project described as long as at least one bonding surface is porous and temporary bracing would be recommended for 24 hours up to 7 days or longer. You might consider wire brad fastening keeping in mind that wood does expand and contract with humidity changes in the home. We also recommend sanding painted surfaces so the adhesive may develop a proper bond. An alternative adhesive may be to use Loctite Power Grab Ultimate - white which is not a water based product.

A: Thank you for your question. Typically contact cement products are used for adhering laminated countertops but for a repair situation Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive may be used.
