A:  The silicone handle holders are sold separately.

A:  The pans are 12 gauge with 10 gauge handles.

A:  The 12" Carbon Steel Skillet (CRS12) is made in the USA.

A:  The Lodge Carbon Steel Skillet is oven safe. The silicone handle holder is not made for oven use. The Lodge silicone hot handle holders are for stovetop use, sliding it on or off the product when needed.

A:  The skillet should be oven safe. Maybe remove the silicone handle but that should be good up to 400C as well.

A:  If your are unhappy you may return it for a full refund. Mike

A:  skillet weighs 5.5 lbs! This is not a thin steel pan; this is a cast-iron skillet shaped liked a fry pan.

A:  Yes. It slides off with a reasonable amount of force.

A:  Yes, I take it off to be sure i don't have moisture rusting it out under the handle.

A:  I had bought an universal lid that fits an 8 inch to 12 inch pan

A:  @Jaygray - Lodge does not make a lid to fit this piece, but splatter screens are a great way to keep the skillet covered while cooking. Thanks, Lodge Customer Care

A:  a standard 12in lid fits fine.

A:  Any lid for a 10” skillet. The pan is a “normal” shape.

A:  I used the lid from a 10" All Clad skillet
