A:  They do come with mounting hardware. They are the plastic drywall anchors.

A:  Yes it does. But they are plastic dry wall anchors I used zip its instead they are much stronger

A:  In my opinion No! This towel bar needs to be attached with screws that go into wood studs.

A:  There are only 2 anchors required…. If the distance is the same and anchors are stable it should work  fine
