A:  It might be that you need to change out a cartridge that allows the water to flow easier. that's what I did for mine and it worked perfectly fine/

A:  Yes, this is for a single handle faucet that controls both hot and cold. If only one temp is coming out you need to check the lines and shut offs for the temp that is not working
