A:  I have no idea, I don't see the cartridge that I got with my replacement parts, but you should get the special tool and follow the instructions, it will make your life much easier

A:  Hello Susan and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Vestige 7065 faucet had multiple generations that used different parts. If your Model 7065 faucet has a red and blue temperature indicator button on the front of the on/off handle, your faucet uses the 1225 cartridge and this Moen Kitchen Handle Adapter Kit will fix a loose or broken handle. A loose handle on Model 7065 faucets with a set screw hole on the back of the handle, will require a 1255 cartridge to resolve the issue.
