The Moen faucet with 7100 on the back of the spout will use the 1225/1225B cartridge and the 96778 O-ring kit if you are experiencing leaking either above or below the spout receptor portion that swivels back and forth. A:  If you page down below the "Frequently Bought Together" section to "Product Details" section you will find the following: Handle mechanism kit will repair kitchen faucets that utilize the 1225 cartridge. It is an easy repair. Good luck

A:  I used it for a 4 piece set, so it was just the hot/cold water handle, but it did fit the Moen product.

A:  No, this is not the right kit for your faucet.

A:  Yes there is a folded piece of paper with diagram.

A:  Yes there is a diagram included in the package. I had a couple problems with it however. The text and diagram is quite small. Since I am in my 60s my vision is diminished and I have problems with small print. Also, it's not obvious that the small hinge-like black plastic piece (#5 in the diagram) needs to be snapped over the bottom part of the metal handle adapter (#4 in the diagram). Take a close look at all the old pieces when you remove them to get an idea of how the fit together and that might help you.

A:  Yes, I bought one a few months ago. It came with an excellent diagram. It was a little tricky taking the old piece out, but very easy to install the new one using the diagram.

A:  it does come with a diagram in the package and there is one also on Moen's website as well as video on Youtube.

A:  Yes there is a 1-sheet diagram that shows how the parts get put together in order. I'm not exactly "handy" but was able to replace the handle on my sink with the provided diagram.

A:  You can find the diagram on moen.com. also if you are the buyer/owner of the faucet, most of moen faucets come with a lifetime warranty. Call them and they will send the parts for free if your faucet has a lifetime warranty.

A:  Yes, but it's basic. I also watched a youtube video to assist me. The only problem I ran into was loosening the old corroded pieces that were already in the handle.

A:  This comes with an illustrated instruction sheet. My advice is to work slowly, pay attention to the orientation of the individual parts, and set the old parts out on a table or counter in the order they were removed. This way, you can reassemble the control in the same order. If available, having the instruction sheet from the faucet assembly, which has an exploded view, also should help.
