A:  The rough in kit comes with everything but the handles and the faucet itself. I don’t know what you mean by the cartridges.

A:  The updated Valve assembly by MOEN is a direct replacement for the earlier model. I only had to swap out one part from the old center valve. I did apply a small amount to the o-ring fittings to aid assembly.

The lift rod drain assembly included with this rough-in kit cannot be modified to allow for a spring-loaded plug. If you would rather not use a lift rod to operate the plug, Moen manufactures two spring-loaded push button drain kits that can be purchased separately: Part 140780 is for use in sinks without an overflow and Part 131553 for sinks with overflow. Cleaner manufacturers may change their formulations at any time; therefore, Moen does not recommend any specific cleanser. Immediately after cleaning your faucet, wash off remaining cleanser with water. Most green, fibrous pads or sponges contain microscopic mineral particles that can scratch a faucet's finish. A:  The holes for my faucet handles faucet handles are roughly 10 inches apart, center to center, with the faucet spout in between. They worked great. I think they mean the holes for the faucet handles can be anywhere from 8 to 16 inches apart. Looking at my installation, that would work.

IPS Connection is designed to be installed between 8”-16” on center. This allows flexibility when installing a widespread lavatory sink faucet. If your faucet is 4” on center then you will need a 4” centerset faucet and not a widespread.
