A:  It’s on the directions. It should be 0000. 

A:  For security reasons, there is no way to factory reset this lock since it would compromise the lock's security.

A:  To prevent the lock from failing, please see the following suggestions: Regular cleaning and lubrication every 3-6 months is recommended to keep your locks operating like new. Locks used in extremely dusty or corrosive environments should be cleaned and lubricated every three months. Regular lubrication will also help minimize freezing in cold weather environments.

A:  You'll want a Master Lock #5 with a 1" shackle ... https://www.homedepot.com/p/Master-Lock-5SST-2-in-Laminated-Stainless-Steel-Keyed-Padlock-with-1-in-Shackle-2-Pack-5SSTHC/205853825 ... Pro Tip: Don't install them super tight in the box. They work better with a little "play."

A:  I think you need a key for a rigid job box lock.

A:  Sometimes you need to oil it and work the shackel. Also make sure you are setting the combination at the proper place on the lock. They make the combination line goofy on those locks

A:  You might want to try and reset the code. That may help to get it to close.

A:  Means lifetime

A:  What an interesting question! The warranty doc is here. "Limited" seems to mean that there are conditions where the warranty does not apply. Check the section about prisoners. A:  A limited lifetime warranty means that a manufacturer is contractually obligated to replace parts of a product that break or are defective over the life of the product. However, the manufacturer is not legally obligated to replace parts that are not mentioned in the warranty or are broken or misused by the consumer

A:  Open lock with the factory set or previously set combination. The lock must be set to the current combination, or you cannot reset it. Note: the shackle must be in the open position to reset the combination. To set or reset your combination, please follow these steps: Insert reset tool (enclosed in package) in hole on side of lock. Push reset tool in and turn 90 degrees (in either direction). Reset tool automatically stays in this position. Set wheels to desired combination. Turn and remove reset tool. Lock is now set to new combination. Record your new combination in a safe place.

A:  Set your new combination and turn the lock half a turn

A:  Open the lock, turn the shackle 90 degrees to position "I", push the shackle into the lock until it clicks, then turn the shackle another 90 degrees to position "II." While holding it down, set the dials to your desired combination. Pull the shackle up, verifying the dials remained set to your combination before you lock it. And your lock is now set to new combination.
