A:  I recommend using a pruning saw-but if all you have is the Milwaukee Hacksaw you can cut through a branch at least three and one half inches thick.

A:  The distance from the cutting edge of the blade to the black frame is 3-7/8" on the narrow end & 4-7/8" on the wider end.

      A:  Yes, you can cut any type of metal with this saw , it might take awhile depending on how thick the metal is, but what you’re using it for will be fine.

        A:  I used a metal blade and was unsuccessful. It’s just too hard. Perhaps, someone else might be able to. I was not.

        A:  It depends upon your level of precision desired. I wouldn’t use this saw for delicate or intricate work.You would choose the wood blade if that is what your cabinet trim is made of.

        A:  Just make sure your blade is not loose . Feel with your hand , you will be able to tell . And it is best to over tighten just a bit .

        A:  Tighten the blade as so it will not bend. During use the blade may heat up and loosen.-just retighten as needed.
