Q:Would these work well for cutting soffit? I used my co-workers big ?soffit scissors? the other say but these fit my hand much better and his scissors left me with some nasty blisters 7 hours later which were nothing compared to just being sore lol

Works great for my needs
These Milwaukee snips are perfect for my DIY projects. They cut through cardboard and aluminum really well. I’ve had these a long time and they are still sharp. They seem to be pretty rust proof also. The grips are comfortable and move easily.

Horrible
They rusted after only a week of using them. They are also extremely dull, can’t even cut through thin aluminum bands. Extremely dissatisfied with this Milwaukee product.

The offset on these snips, along with the flush hinge bolt make these the best snips I’ve had. I’m not sure how long the blades stay sharp because they don’t seem to dull at all. I’ve used this pair daily for over a month on sheet metal siding and they have yet to dull. I own multiple Milwaukee power tools and will be buying their hand tools exclusively going forward. The only thing that would make these better is slightly longer blades but it’s not really an issue. No tool is perfect but these snips are close.

These snips have a great grip on them. are great for straight cuts and will cut through very thick metal. I used them to cut the metal deflector grates on my grill and it cut them with ease. I also used them to cut some guttering on the house. I would recommend these for any handyman's tool box. I am sure you will find many tasks where these sheers will come in handy for cutting .

These Milwaukee Right Cutting Aviation Snips are an outstanding value. They feel very comfortable in the hand during use, cut smoothly and evenly. Right cutting aviation snips are most often used by left-handed people to make straight cuts or cuts to the right and by both left and right-handed people for making cuts to the right. Right cutting aviation snips are color coded green. These snips were used to cut out a piece of expanded metal used for patching the stucco on my home. They cut the expanded metal easily and effortlessly for me.

These Milwaukee Left Cutting Aviation Snips are an outstanding value. They feel very comfortable in the hand during use, cut smoothly and evenly. Left cutting aviation snips are most often used by right-handed people to make straight cuts or cuts to the left. Left cutting aviation snips are color coded red. These snips were used to cut metal ducting to length producing a nice straight even cut. I used a waste piece of ducting to make a short duct coupler rather than throw it out.
