A: Steve, it should do it without a problem, I use the 1/2 inch to break loose the lug nuts on my Peterbilt that are torqued to 600 to 700 lbs and it does it without working hard. I never used the smaller one as the bigger one works on everything. you might want to step up and get one that will cover all your future needs

A: Yes. You have done the math right. I have one of these and it's pretty powerful. It can shear 5/16" grade three bolts if you are not careful.

A: Hello! This impact driver is compatible with Impact Duty drill & drive bits.
by|Feb 28, 2023
A: It's an impact driver (as opposed to a drill) so it can be used to drive screws like deck screws into wood with star, square drive or phillips heads as well as nuts on bolts with the correct bit adapter and socket head. It can also be used for light masonry fasteners to drill holes in brick, concrete or concrete block for fasteners to hold things to the masonry or concrete. A handy little tool. One should but a bit driver set with square, T-style and star bits as well as 1/4' adapter for use with smaller socket and hex head wrenches.

Answer This Question
A: As long as the auger has a 1/4 in quick-connect drive you can. However, this impact driver is hard to keep the speed down. It isn't a variable speed driver.
by|Jan 24, 2023
A: It could, but a drill/driver would be best rather than an impact driver.
by|Jan 26, 2023
A: You would need a chuck adapter to hold the auger but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
