A: I have used this drill for many things & cement is one of them with a good mortor bit. It's got power to spare. Steel, thick material, you name it, it'll get the job done. If you've gotten yours, you know how good this Milwaukee is. The best gun I've ever had. Enjoy yours!

A: Mine wasn't sticky, if you use it work I'd probably bring it back and switch it out of use at home , theres a 5 year warranty through Milwaukee and the home use is so little it probably wouldnt affect it to much but everyday constant use could take a toll on it and break. So it's your choice take it back and swap it or clean it off and see how long it last. I personally have this same one and it's the best impact I've used to date and I put in a couple thousand screws a day.

Q:Besides the 3 speed selector the 2851-20 this appears to be the same as the 2850-21 except they have 4200 RPM vs 3200 RPM? Why does the 2851-20 have less RPM?
Also, how does the 2851-20 compare to the 2760-20 Surge for light to moderate use where you don't want to overtighten or break impacts and bolts and what is max lag bolt size for 2851-20 vs 2760-20?

A: You can with insert type bits but not as well as with a drill/driver. Impact drivers don't have good control for drilling.
