A: Says right in the title: M18. You need an M18 battery (and at least the 5.0 for this vacuum) You're getting a product recommendation, because that's what ecommerce websites do... they recommend products. They're not always good at it.

Q:This has quickly become worthless. Does anybody have maintenance tips or ideas of how to get the suction performing back to normal? I've had it for 3 months and it can't even pickup coffee grounds.

A: Had the same issue, its important to make sure hose has no clogs inside, and to clean filter.....I usually bang it out in the trash can and then hit it with the compressor....saves on buying new filters too
