A:  This charger has been a very good servicing device for my being able to keep a spare battery charged. Using the cordless drill, furnished with a quick recharged battery on the job site and doing long use service for placing deck screws or jobs requiring a large drill use. Still using the charger, Many years now.

A:  Sorry can’t answer. I got mine for the 18 volt and it worked great. I would think it would being a 14.4 volt or 18 volt charger.

Q:II have a charger that is a 245 instead of a 255. Do any lights come on when the charger is plugged in before a battery is inserted? Also this charger & the 2 batteries that came with my saw have only been used twice since bought new years ago. The charger does not light when I plug it in even after a battery is inserted. Is this the charger or are the batteries bad? Thanks, Louis Bond

A:  the charger will not light up unless you have a battery in the charger. If the battery is completely discharged/dead the charger will not light up.

Works great and mine is in used daily when working with the drill...charging my spare while using in/on my projects...presently in construction of my well house...
