A: Not really, not magnetic enough to hold an 1x3/4 inch construction screw. Which for me is a deal breaker.

Q:What is the difference between the DRIVE STYLES?
HEX vs. NUT SETTER vs. RECESSED HEX
Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: Drive style—or drive recess as it is called—refers to the kind of tool you use to install (or remove) the screw. Nut setters are used for driving lag bolts or lag screws with an impact driver. Hex-head screws are screws with a hexagonal-shaped head that can be tightened with a wrench (spanner) or socket.

Q:will it fit #10 screws
by|Apr 25, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi Dan,
When you mention in your question "#10 screws" I assume that you are referring to either a slotted or phillips type screw. If this is the situation, then the Milwaukee 2 inch Shockwave Impact Duty "T20" Torx bit driver "will not" work.
The unusual star-shaped Torx head makes them far more secure than regular flat-head or cross-head screws and allows higher torque transmission so screws and bolts can be tightened more securely.
Milwaukee does make bit drivers for "slotted" or "Phillips" #10 screws that would be a better choice for your application
I hope this Helps.
Thanks Chipmaker
