Q:What will work to attach a garden hose to my faucet?

    Answer This Question

A:  If your faucet and hose has thread sizes that are compatible with HomeDepot.com Internet #206321179, which is a coupler and fitting combination, we think that would work best for your connection. The fitting on top is dual thread and can fit most standard size faucets with male 15/16 in.-27 or female 55/64 in.-27 threads. The bottom is a quick disconnect coupler that is designed to attach a 3/4 inch female garden hose. A:  We were unable to confirm the thread size of your faucet based on the information we found online, but it appears that you may have a small 3/4"-27 female aerator. In conjunction with the snap fitting, you can try the adapter that is Home Depot internet #202243064/store SKU#590833 which has top threads female 3/4 in. - 27 and bottom threads that are male 55/64 in. - 27. Keep in mind that the use of multiple adapters may cause leaks.

A:  Don’t quite understand the question but this works as a set. You have a adapter and a coupler and Home Depot carries both small and large coupler. You have to make sure you use the same size as a set.

A:  If you bought the dishwasher, you don’t need anything. It comes with that faucet attachment. I ordered one and didn’t need it.

A:  This is only one half of the two. This half calls adapter and the other half calls coupler. Be aware that they come in two sizes, 3/4" and 1". The best way is to buy the whole set at a time to avoid mismatch.

A:  You would turn it to the left to remove. You may have lime build up on your threads. You should put some white vinegar and water in a baggie and attach it to your faucet spout with an elastic so you can soak it for a long time. This should help to loosen the lime build up you may have. After you remove it, use an old toothbrush on the threads to brush away any excess lime and run it through water to rinse thoroughly.
