A:  No. There is a place on top where u can take the lid off and add water manually

A:  No, you add water to the reservoir. There is an opening, with a lid, on top of the machine for filling.

A:  No. There might be a defect with it. Or you might need to clean it from the get go. I'm trying to remember if I cleaned mine before using but typically if you don't get clear ice then the machine is dirty. Try that and if still not clear then you might of gotten a defected ice maker.

A:  To clean it? You don't drain it I just wait until it runs out of water, take it apart clean it and then put it back together. No need to drain it.
