Q:When the ice melts and the float rises, my machine shuts off? I've never had it make more then one cycle without the power light blinking green.

Just what I had hoped for. Clear ice, FAST
This makes ice, and more of it, much quicker than my brand new GE Profile Fridge/Freezer. The capacity of ice makers today isn't what it used to be. I wanted something to augment our home ice maker without having to add GE's extra ice maker to our freezer and take away from our freezer space. This solved that issue just as I had hoped. We go to the beach a lot, and we go through ice quickly. This will not only take on our beach cooler duties but it will be used on the lanai for when we have friends and family over. The ice is clear and plentiful. The fact that it recycles any melted ice water and makes more ice out of it is genius.

Excellent Warranty
The ice machine makes ice without noise or issue. Unfortunately, it had a problem after seven months months of continuous use and began to trip the GFCI breaker. I hadn't registered the machine at the time I bought it, but finally did when it stopped working. Then I placed a warranty request and was asked for a picture of the serial number/plate and a coy of the receipt. Then to my surprise, I was told a new unit was on its way and I could use the box to return the old machine free of charge. It doesn't get any better than that!

Best purchase I've ever made!

I would buy this product again and again!
This ice machine is a champ! It dumps out 40 pounds of ice a day. My husband uses this machine to fill up his cooler to take to work. I've had plenty of ice and I've never run out. Buy it, love it and never be without ice. An added bonus is that Newair stands behind their products and they have been a pleasure to do business with. I will continue to use Newair in the future as any other need arises.

Love my new ice maker!
This ice maker is awesome! It makes ice super fast and is quiet. It doesn't take up much space at all and the clear ice really is clear. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an ice maker.

Great product, and good customer service!
I use my Newair portable icemaker every day! The ice maker on my refrigerator quit working. We were constantly buying ice. This product produced great quantities of ice each day. However after 5 months, the ice built up thick, and would no longer release the ice cubes. I called customer service and they responded quickly to replace the unit, still under warranty. Was told it was the compressor. I really like the icemaker and I am anxious to get back on track. My husband and I use a lot of ice. Despite the inconvenience, I still would highly recommend this unit for large output of ice.

great machine!
Now I am very happy with my ice machine. I am impressed because products are not only wonderful in quality, but the designer of the products is impeccable, they are beautiful. Look how incredible, she makes clear ice every 7 minutes, up to 18 kg of ice a day.
