Neither the glass fiber nor the binder can be considered a food source. Because of the porous nature of the product, insects and vermin can enter and maneuver through fiber glass insulation. There are no chemical additives in our products intended to repel insects or vermin, but because it is not a food source, insects typically do not nest in it and vermin are not attracted to it.
