Q:Why is bottom part of fan moving? I have installed 2 of these fans with no light. The 2nd on moves slightly when first turned on. Have taken it down and re installed but still does it. I’m referring to the cap thing at bottom of fan that’s there instead of a light. When you turn fan on it kinda jerks a bit at first. After that fan runs but I’m sure this part shouldn’t move.

Answer This Question
A: I hardwired mine to a fan wall switch (multi-speed control) and it functioned well for a year. It stopped being able to turn on at the 25% speed setting, and would only start spinning at the 50% speed setting and above.

A: Hello - This fixture is able to be hardwired to a wall switch. Thank You.

A: Just yesterday, 2 years after installation, it started turning on in reverse for not apparent reason. The fan does not have a manual reverse switch, and I didn't wire the remote, so I cannot get it to spin in the downward flow direction like previously.
