Answer This Question
A: I am not aware of a humidity sensor shipped with this fan. Mine came with a thermostat with adjustable temperature via a knob that you turn for setting. I chose to operate this fan via a wall switch in my garage so I can have absolute control over when this fan runs. It is easy to install. Just run the power wiring thru the wall switch for the ability to override the thermostat control if you desire. If you are not comfortable working with electrical power circuits, simply hire an electrician to do the job for you.

Answer This Question
A: I bought two of these. Both came with, I believe a Robert Shaw house thermostat. They are not wired to the unit. You have to do the wiring. I did not like the house thermostat and I put an attic thermostat on both of mine. I took the attic ones off of old attic fans that had stopped working. I have them adjusted to 85 degrees.

Q:Why is the AFG ES-1500 more expensive than the AFG Pro 3.0?

Answer This Question
A: If you look at the specs, the Pro uses 250 watts, while the green or ES-1500 only uses 30 watts. The energy efficiency probably costs a lot more money to obtain. The Pro model also moves more air than the Es-1500.
