A:  No, there isn't any hose attachment. Perhaps you can place this blower near your large attic vent to exhaust some of the hot air from the attic. Ideally, you should have an attic fan installed.

A:  Yes, stronger motor on blower fan , also able to direct air more precisely with blower fan, evaporates moisture quite efficiently. A fan will work , but not as effectively.

A:  Depends on what you're looking for. If you need to dry out flooring it's much better. It applies the full amount of air movement at the floor level where a standard box fan does not. I bought one a few years ago after getting water in my basement as I didn't want to rent one and its paid for itself many times over since between mine and friend's usage.

A:  This fan works better for drying areas where you need to direct air flow, such as directly over or under wet carpet. I also have higher capacity wire frame fans, but this works better for those purposes. It also doesn't blow your pictures off the walls.
