Q:My fan is wobbling so badly that it is impossible to use - I have to stack bricks around it to get it to stay put. Otherwise it will spin in circles. Has anyone else had this issue?

paid new price for used product
I get that people buy a product for a single use, and then return it. I really wish the El Cajon (r676) store would not charge full price for used restocked returns that are covered in dirt and dust. Can't resolve this over the phone, and I can't be bothered to get back to the store to exchange. Do Better Home Depot.

More uses than just drying flooded floors
This fan really moves a lot of air with a 900 CFM flow rate. I purchased this to dry out my basement floor that gets some minor water from time to time, but I needed up using this fan for a lot more purposes. It works great at speeding up drying paint and wood coatings (or just removing the odor they make when drying). I use this after shampooing my carpets and it makes them walkable in 1 hour vs waiting all day with no fan running. I have also used this in my garage to move air for cooling effect/breeze when working in the summer. There are 3 speeds, with the lowest speed very quiet and a gentle breeze, and the fastest speed somewhat loud with a wind like air speed, the middle speed seems like the right balance between noise and air movement. The intake is very strong, so be sure to keep curtains, paper of loose material away from the intake as it can get sucked onto it and block the flow. I have had this unit for 4 years without any problems, and often leave this running for days at a time with out it overheating. This fan has far exceeded my expectations.
