A:  There's a wide variety of staples that you can use. Best thing to do is read the manual that came with it. Also it might state on the tool itself.

It will hold a maximum of 100 staples, and the staples can range from a minimum of 3/8 in. and a maximum or 1 1/2 in.       A:  Must have been a misprint or something because I have no issues with anything from 1/4 to11/2.

It usually comes with 18 gauge 1-1/2" but could come with a different length entirely but meeting specifications. That is not a set size that comes with the tool so it is subject to change.                 A:  Hi User, I apologize that you are experiencing fastener issues with your RIDGID 18-Gauge 1-1/2 in. Finish Stapler, Contractor's Bag and (200) Staples R150FSF. Make sure you are using the correct faster and that the magazine is loaded correctly and with an adequate supply of nails. You also want to make sure that you are providing the tool with adequate air supply by checking the volume of air.                   A:  I don't know what happens but I had same problem and returned it to Homedepot for exchange for another one and no longer had issues. They are lifetime warranty if you registered it.

                  Q:I Just bought this crown stapler and it is shooting blanks about 20% of the time. I open the feed tray and close it and that works for a few more staples. Any suggestion to get it feed every pull of the trigger
