A: Cut the end of the tube. Put this ovrer the end. Install in the tube gun., Squeeze gun to release 11 lines of glue . Very even;
A: Drop nozzle in gun tip FIRST. Clip end of tube. Drop tube in gun. Start spreading. Chang tubes as needed.
A: Can't open it. I imagine you could force water into it to drive out the adhesive, but I considered it a disposable item.
A: I do not think so. Both of mine broke mid-use. I do not feel like they are made to be taken apart, they are not very substantial.
A: That is a tough one. Soak it in water. use a coat hanger wire to push the glue though the holes and open it up . Use the coat hanger to scrape glue out the tool also. A better design would be to have it open up to make the cleaning easier.
A: No. Try washing it out with hot water and a piece of coat hanger or pipe cleaner to poke through the holes.
A: No you cant open it (unless you count when it splits open because its cheaply made) but you might be able to wash it with soap and water before the caulk dries. I just considered them disposable, but I did use a small piece of wire to clean the holes if I'd let it sit too long
A: While the glue is still wet, submerge the nozzle in hot soapy water. Let it sit a few hours and then you can clean it with a pipe cleaner. The soapy water will thin and soften the glue enough that it can easily be cleaned out of the nozzle.
A: the clean-up is with warm soapy water if the adhesive not dried. if you soak it after using, you should be able to use it again. it does not open up.
A: I used it for 1 big job (1/2 day) & disposed (did not clean) ... Not sure if you can or it it's worth the time to do so ... I don't think so. The did not start to set inside of nozzle as it is essentially air tight (expect for ends) so it worked fine .. for 1 big job.
A: For 4 bucks for one , just buy a couple, why bother cleaning it?
