A:  It's hard to say, without knowing what tool you're powering. It lasts a lot longer than the standard battery. I haven't measured the time exactly, but I'd say about 30 minutes when running my leaf blower.

A:  Hard to say as I have had to replace this battery twice. very short life and very expensive to replace, Zero stars.

A:  About 30-90 minutes depends on what you are using the battery on 

A:  The run time depends on how much power you are using. If you used 40watts continuously, it would last almost 6 hours, but if you use 250W continuously, it wouldn't last an hour. I bought this for use with my Ryobi Backpack Blower. I always complete the job (or get tired and stop), before this battery runs out. Then I recharge it overnight when electricity rates are lower. Oh, and while shopping around, I saw another reviewer somewhere said they got over 45 minutes with a 4ah battery, so I figure this one would power the blower for about 70 minutes. However, it depends how often you use the turbo feature and how often you are walking around with no power just positioning the nozzle to direct the debris in the correct direction.

A:  I have a tiller and a blower. They have different run times. I find they both are excellent products and last long enough for me to finish the job

A:  The rapid chargers were worth the extra money, My husband did not want to wait 3 hours for the batteries to recharge if they ran out before the snow was cleared.. Now, he does not need to worry about getting caught short. The RYOBI snow-thrower is great. Clean, quiet and easy to use.

A:  I have no idea how to answer that question! All I know, is that the product works great!

A:  This mower (RY40108) comes with the 6.0Ah battery (as of 12/31/2021), so the answer to your question is yes. However, not all of the current Ryobi 40V batteries will fit. The 7.5Ah battery does not fit. 

A:  I have the RY40108 and it does not fit. I am going to have to return it.

A:  In a word yes! It's a 40V 6amp battery and looks the same as those advertised for sale on your model mower. I don't have that mower, but my son-in-law does, and he's the one who bought me the battery. Go for it!

A:  Hello, Yes it work's fine, It could be better if was the 7.5 Ah, but the 6.0 Ah will do the work. I suggest do not used 2.4 or 4.0 they are to low energy density, this lower energy density batteries do not handle the draw energy of the mover. ABOUT THE MOVER, what out about the screws that are on each side of back of the Fram, the one that hold in place the handles, they area right by side the back wheel's make sure they are alway's tied. My got loos and the tread was strip. under warranty they replaced the mover.

A:  I don’t know- it works w/any of their 40 volt powered tools, I imagine. I use it for their chain saw, etc.

I'm sorry, we do not make HP 40 volt batteries so there isn't one that would be equivalent to the 6 Ah and 7.5 Ah batteries. The 7.5 amp hour battery will provide the same performance and power when compared to the 6 amp hour battery. the only difference would be the run time. A:  as far as i know from the Ryobi help desk. all the 40 volt provide the same power the higher numbers only provide longer use of the battery without a recharge.

A:  No, the charger will only charge when the battery pack charge is low enough to require a charge cycle. These 40 volt packs can sit for weeks before they self discharge enough to require charging.

A:  I have two mounted on a wall mount with a shelf for battery storage. The mounting spacing is molded into the back of the charger. Use pan head screws, roundhead screws won't fit. I'd post a pic, but HD's picture function still doesn't work.

A:  Here's a picture of the charger mounted on the wall. There is space for two of them, but this picture predates the second charger.

A:  I have 2 of these mounted on a wall mount with a shelf to hold extra batteries not being charged. The back/bottom of the charger has the spacing for the mounting screws, which must be pan head screws. Round head screws won't fit.

A:  Hi patty, The 4Ah, 5Ah, and "regular" size 6Ah battery all contain 20 cells and weigh about the same. My scale shows a range of 1400g-1515g (3.1lb to 3.3lb). However, Ryobi also manufactures the 6Ah battery in a taller profile which contains 30 cells which I'd expect to be heavier. I don't own any of the taller 6.0Ah batteries so I can't give an exact figure, but I'm weighing 10 cells in a plastic holder at 550g (1.2lb) so my guess is that the larger 6Ah battery weighs around 2000g (4.4lb). The "regular" sized 6Ah battery is model OP40601, the taller profile 6.0Ah battery is the OP40602, and I understand that Ryobi has released a new 6.0Ah model OP40604 but I don't know yet if it's a regular or tall profile battery.

The higher the amp hour the more the battery will weigh. The 6 amp hour battery will weigh about 4 pounds while the 4 amp hour battery will be around 3.5 pounds. The 5 amp hour will be in the middle of those weights. A:  no, it charges them in series meaning it charges 1 battery to 100% b4 it charges the next, so it would be faster to charge both batteries on separate chargers
