A:  Yes, I even have cleaned under my couch which is only 4” off the floor.  

A:  It does "break down" to be used as a dustbuster type vacuum, but to get under a bed, there would be no need to "break it down". It would easily slide under the bed as far as your arm would allow and is already a good 30"+ long to get up under there a good distance

A:  Thanks for asking as I had to go check mine. It indeed will do under beds if the pivot limit switch is unlocked allowing full horizontal operation.

A:  It’s made for every surface. The button on the top will shutoff the roller and it won’t I’ll act like a vacuum. If it’s a regular pile rug not a deep pile.

A:  Seems like it might be defective or has a issue I have used it on high pile and low pile rugs and it always turns you might have some hair or something else stuck in the roller bearing

A:  Use a bigger battery, I used a 2, and changed to a 4 .

A:  i have not had this problem with the one i purchased

A:  This does not use a filter. It has a reusable canister that once its full you empty and keep using it.

A:  Last time I checked, they said next May 2022. They have been putting us off for a year now!

A:  I have been trying to order a new filter replacement FOR A YEAR! I get a lot of song and dance from different Ryobi reps I run into at my local store. I even got a part # that is for the P181 and is "supposed to work" ... it does not fit into the P724.

A:  It works just fine for an 18v, small vac. Why would you expect it to be some kind of powerful beast mode vacuum? I live in a small apartment and this thing is perfect for it. It's light, compact, and plenty powerful for its intended use. The rare piece of debris that it may "kick around" simply gets picked up by hand and tossed. Problem solved. Again, this is a great light weight, and light duty vacuum. And the fact that it uses the 18v battery pack adds to its value in my arsenal of Ryobi tools and cordless appliances! Oh and c'mon, it was so affordable. If you want something more then get ready to pay at least triple the price, especially for cordless options.

A:  I agree with you 100%, I bought it for my man cave something lite....

A:  It's a battery operated light vacuum stick!! If you wanted a device to do the standard vacuuming chores then you buy a standard size vacuum. This device is for light work around the kitchen or office etc. where you just need a quick clean up of dust, hair etc. I like it because it is lightweight and can go anywhere fast without finding a plug and stores easily.

A:  You may have a defective unit, mine does not do this and has great suction and cleaning abilities. You may want to exchange it and try a new one.

A:  I bought this as a gift for a friend. It was a replacement for a Hoover stick vacuum. My friend has also not been impressed. My friend is in a wheelchair and uses this as their primary vacuum. Apparently it’s just not great.

A:  No cyclonic action so filter gets clogged quickly even with the two part filter that ends up getting thrown out with the dirt on accident anyway. Worst part is location of the power switch which is always pressed by accident.

A:  You don’t, vacuum is junk, sorry I purchased one

A:  There are indicators on the batteries that can tell you how charged they are.

A:  When chargig, there is a blinking light. That light remains solid on when charged.

A:  there are 4 lights the battery that show when charging and then a green light on unit to show fully charged

A:  It uses ryobi 18 volt batteries... you can charge batteries with attached charger, or any Ryobi standard charger. I have a few batteries, and just swap one out when needed..
