A:  Yes, they are rechargeable. The older style blue/yellow battery charger cannot be used for these batteries. But it comes with a charger and the old batteries (if they still work) can charge in this new charger.

A:  I keep it in the car while traveling but leave it at home. Leaving it in extreme heat or cold will cause battery degradation.
