A:  Just one bolt. Had ours for almost 3 years with no problem with bar slippage.

A:  My 10" chainsaw has one bolt and tensioning screw. I have used it for several projects and had zero problems. If your doing a big project have an extra battery or two.

A:  The 10" bar has one screw bolt holding it in place. Use one drop of blue locktight on the threads and torque the screw in tight. I use this 10" blade saw and have cut down 14" diameter pine tree and sliced it up. Never had a problem with the blade coming loose.

A:  The 2502BTL is a Brushless motor which will work stronger longer.  A brushed motor will weaken over time and need the brushes (a small part inside the motor) replaced

A:  When you are finished, using try loosening the reservoir cap to reduce pressure. All chainsaws will leak some oil but this should help.

A:  You CAN use any Ryobi 18v batter in it. However I would highly recommend at least a 4ah battery because with a smaller one it doesn't have enough power to keep cutting after just a couple minutes.
