Ryobi leaf Blower``````````````````````````
I bought this leaf blower about three years ago at Home Depot. I am living in a senior citizens community so I used the leaf blower very sparingly, maybe 20 hours total.. For no apparent reason the blower started making a huge noise. The blower was not dropped or abused in anyway so I took it back to Home Depot and was told that they could not do anything about it and that I should contact Ryobi. I have tried to find a repair shop to fix the blower??. However, the nearest shop that could be found `is 60 miles away. I am now without a leaf blower, but I refuse to buy a Ryobi.````````````````````````

    Far exceeded expectations
I had a few tread I needed to cut down so I decided to take a chance on this since I already had batteries. It took care of this 10” diameter tree no sweat. With one 6ah battery I cut the tree down and cut up all the branches. My only complaint was that the chain had to be tightened a couple of times during the job.

        Oil everywhere
This seems to be a good chainsaw with one major down fall. Second time I used it all the oil leaked in the floor. Will be taking it back to trade it in. Hopefully the second one will not do this. If it does I will get a refund. When I called ryobi they said I well it just does that.!

        Response from RYOBINov 18, 2022
Hello, Redford - We're sorry to see that you have not been entirely pleased with your chainsaw! Given the nature of chainsaws, it is normal for oil to seep from the saw when not in use. To prevent seepage, empty the oil tank after each use. When storing the unit for a long period of time (three months or longer) be sure the chain is lightly lubricated; this will prevent rust on the chain and bar sprocket. We hope this provides clarity! And please feel free to email us anytime at Reviews@RYOBItools.com if you'd like to continue this conversation. RYOBIOutdoorTools

          Everyone was impressed!!
I used this to trim a ton of trees around my house. Even my tree guy was impressed with it. I think it's just the right size and if you really needed more length you can swap the bar and chain out. I also tried out the 40 volt and was not impressed.

I really like the compact size and lightweight of the tool. Its excellent for light to medium cutting and trimming. The instructions were simple to understand and there was no assembly required. The only thing is you will have to get a battery and a charger for the saw. The battery charges in about 30 minutes and will last for a couple of hours which should allow you time for small jobs or multiple cuts or trims.

I got this chainsaw back at the start of February but i was so sick from the covid-19 virus that i only felt good enough recently to try it out. This Ryobi chainsaw has a ten inch blade but packs a powerful punch. It is the tool only without a battery but i already own many of their tools and batteries. I did have to purchase chainsaw oil to lube the blade.I had many tree branches that had fallen due to the harsh winter we had but this lightweight tool made easy work of it. To oil the blade you just push a button to pump the oil. Don't leave too much oil in the small tank as it seems to leak out when stored. That might have been my fault though.I also like that it pairs up with all my other cordless tools from Ryobi. Very good choice for light yardwork.

              Awesome chainaw!
Very impressed with this cordless chsinsaw!! Above my expectations of a battery operated chainsaw! Cut up a live fallen oak tree that was 8 1/2” in diameter. This saw cut up all the branches and cut up the tree with 3 4ah batteries. Wanted to see how well this saw would do on a bigger tree. Boughtbit for the purpose of smaller limbs and trees but after using it on a larger one, im getting this saw out instead of the gas power chainsaw! No starting ot messing with gas and restarting squeeze the triger pump the oil every so often and go!!

They Ryobi 18V blower is not nearly as noisy as most electric blowers. I didn't have to wear ear protection. The blower is lightweight relative to gas and other battery powered blowers. But it is a bit heavier than an electric cord blower. The speed is controlled with one trigger. Squeeze the trigger all the way and it is full force. Release a bit and it slows down. I use the blower with a 1.0ah Ryobi battery. On a full charge, it averaged about 11 minutes per charge. I think my battery is in great condition. I would recommend a 3.0 or 4.0ah battery. When using the Ryobi hedge, the same batter puts out 30 minutes. We had a snovid-21 in Texas with ice covering everything. It did an okay job blowing the ice laden oak leaves. It did much better blowing wet leaves. And it did great at blowing dry leaves. See video link below. Overall, nice battery powered blower, good construction, good brand. For a 3/4 acre homesite with driveways and sidewalks, I would recommend a larger battery.

Love having my Ryobi jet fan blower! Very easy to use by squeezing the handle grip, with variable speed control. The blower is light weight also, weighing in at approximately 7#. My neighborhood consists of patio homes. (Small 10' x 14' patio with 8' fencing on each end) During the year leaves and debris fall into the area and gather in the corners. This tool for my purpose is to blow the leaves out and make my cleanup more efficient and tidy. I also have leaves and dirt that gets into the garage. Blowing everything out is so much faster than using a broom, especially when there is a car in the garage, just blow under it! Please note - this blower does not come with a battery pack. Ryobi sells the battery and charger separately because they universally fit many of their electric products. I bought the 2.0 battery and thought it would hold a charge for 1.5 hours, but after 20 minutes, battery needs recharging.

This is a surprising little chainsaw. The Ryobi 10 inch chainsaw model P2502 has got quite a bit of horsepower for a battery operated chainsaw. I was able to use any of my 18+ ryobi batteries in it without no problems. Even though this is a brushless one+HP model device I saw no change in performance. My Li-ion 18 volt 5Ah battery never ran out of juice and j was able to complete my sawing of medium sized branches. Be safe and don't forget to wear your safety goggles.

I like this blower. My yard was wet the first day I tried it out and it blew around even the wet oak leaves. It was pretty easy to move them across the yard. It did not need to particularly close to the leaves. I am 6'2" and I was just waving it at normal slightly below waist level and the leaves were moving. I used it on dry leaves later and it did even better. My one reservation is battery life. It seems to drain even a 4 amp hour battery fairly quickly. Not an issue if you are working a small area but if you tried to blow all the leaves off a decent sized yard you would need several batteries. It works well. If the batteries lasted longer it would not blow as hard.

RYOBI 110 MPH 350 CFM ONE+ HP 18-VOLT BRUSHLESS LITHIUM-ION CORDLESS VARIABLE-SPEED JET FAN BLOWER - New to Ryobi products and I am impressed with their presentation and quality. I am able to use my other Ryobi batteries to power this blower and it makes quick work of blowing sidewalks and garage clear of debris. I like that I don't have to use my back-pack leaf blower or find an extension cord to drag around to use an electric blower to blow out small areas. It's quick, powerful and even quiet enough that if you are doing a small job you don't have to hunt down your ear muffs (but always use your eye protection). Not sure how long this Ryobi will run on a 2 Ah battery from my other tools but it works great for my quick clean ups!

Feel the power to do anything. I ust got this chainsaw to replace another Ryobi chainsaw battery operated too. I can feel the difference in the power delivered by the brushless motor, the time running is more and more cutting can be achieved, the cutting speed is effective and efficient. It is designed to tackle light to medium work around the house, cutting tree limbs to medium logs, or tackle large logs cutting them in several pieces. It’s onboard tool is perfect for continuous work when adjusting the chain no time to waist looking for specific tool size because they already with the chainsaw. It’s Lightweight and well constructed. it’s affordable price makes it one of the key decision to decide to get it. It is necessary to add a lubricant oil for the chain. It is necessary to read the instructions to understand the safety protocol to follow to avoid injuries, easy to store away.

Another superior RYOBI product. This 110 mph brushless lithium-codless variable speed jet fan blower gives you all the power you will need. Since I have many many Ryobi products I love that I can use the same battery to power them all. No muss no fuss its very easy. The blower had so much power even blowing wet fir needles off the driveway which is usually impossible. Its lightweight and has a variable speed trigger. It will get a lot of use at my house.

So far, I like this blower. Lightweight, and the balance is really good. I love that it's part of the ONe+ 18V family, so I always have a spare battery charged up. For only 18 volts, it has nice power - actually more power than my 40V Ryobi blower. One feature that do miss from the other 40V model have to this one is, what I call, a power boost button where you push the button and you a boost of power fora troublesome spot. The trigger is nice and allows for good control over the variable speed motor. One issue I'm having is that the blower starts "ticking" after I put it down - its like the trigger is depressed ever so slightly and is trying to turn the turbine. It's intermittent though. I've been in touch with Ryobi customer service, great guys, and they have not see this. We'll see if goes away. I'll update this review either way. Other than that one minor issue, I do this like this blower.

This battery operated 18 volt chainsaw works well. The ten inch bar is long enough to cut up some large branches or small trees. It has a small wrench in the handle for taking off the nut for changing or tightening chain. I used it to cut up a small fir tree it made quick work of it. I did not fill the saw up with bar oil because if you do not use it all up it will seep out and it is suggested to pour it back in bottle when done. This doesn't have an automatic oiler so every few minutes you have to stop the saw and pump the bulb to apply more oil to chain. It is very important to do this it will make the bar last much longer. There is a safety lock on top that you have to press in before you pull the trigger on the saw. The battery I had was still good to go for a while so how long it will last I am not sure. I will mostly be limbing cedar trees around the house and thinning out the bamboo. I think it might make it into the camper for cutting up firewood when were out. replacement chains are available at my local HD 10" PowerCare chain Y40 {.043} SKU # 463039, model # CL14340PC2, Internet # 203555584. The blower is good for small jobs. It is very light and compact for a blower, and well balanced with an easy to use variable lever switch. I'm about 6 feet, and because of the smaller size, it's a little high off the ground for me to get the best angle to clear a sidewalk. The power is okay, but for moving heavy leaves you'll want more. Works really well for a task like blowing sawdust off outside equipment. For older users and small individuals, could be the best choice.

This is a very handy saw. It handles well, cuts just great, and so much easier than my old saws! I grew tired of trying to start my old gas chainsaw, so have used a corded electric saw the last few years. It works okay, but I end up with about 500 ft of power cord strung across the pasture to reach the far side of the trees. With this battery powered saw, I can work as long as my energy holds out without problem. I did buy a couple of the 4 hour batteries, just to make sure I won't have to stop before I'm ready. I love this saw!

This is a great home chain saw for light to medium duty work. The tool is relatively inexpensive. It is part of the Ryobi One+ system. The battery and charger are sold separately. I already had the Ryobi charger and 18V 3.0Ah batteries that I use for my other Ryobi 18V tools and they were fully interchangeable with the chain saw. Ryobi recommends the 4.0 Ah battery for optimum performance, but my 3.0 Ah performed well. The motor is brushless and the tool is well built and good quality. The chain saw is small and light weight, about 7 pounds with the battery, but it does have cutting power, is efficient and easy to use for basic landscape purposes. The size and weight also makes it easy transport and to store. The chain lubrication is simple using the push pump on the oil tank cap. While cutting just depress the cap pump every few minutes. The maintenance tool (combined wrench and screwdriver) is stored on the underside of the handle. The saw comes with a blade scabbard for transporting and storage.

We use lots of RYOBI tools in this shop… and keep RYOBI lithium batteries on a charger in order to accommodate all needs. When it was time to replace a worn out blower, we chose a RYOBI 18 Volt One+ for our needs because we already had the batteries and charger. This is a descent blower and easy to use, especially the trigger on the handle. Like many blowers, it is heavier than it looks. Or at least, it is heavier than our last RYOBI blower on a power cord without batteries. But who wants to wander the yard tied to a cord? Worth the upgrade.

This new Ryobi P21012 18 volt blower is surprisingly powerful. The brushless motor seems pretty battery efficient. It is lightweight and the trigger is easy to pull. I've noticed a slight delay to get full speed, but it's not an issue. My favorite feature is the variable speed controlled by the trigger. The unit is well balanced and easy to maneuver around. I have several Ryobi products and am once again totally satisfied with my choice.

Another great Ryobi cordless tool to add to my ever growing collection. I already had another Ryobi blower but it was the 90mph model. This is the 110mph One+HP model. The extra 20 mph was what I needed. It doesn't seem like much, until you use it. The 90mph was good but I have over 20 rose bushes that leaves get stuck in and around. I gave the 90mph to my son. This 110mph model clears them out and quickly. This model is a little bit heavier but not bad. I even used it to blow the water off the truck after I washed it to speed up drying time. This one came with the tool only but I have several back up batteries. Make sure you order the correct one if you don't have a battery at home.

The lowest branches on some trees need to be cut off from time-to-time. With hundreds of trees on our property, my new Ryobi 10 inch lightweight cordless chainsaw enables me to do more pruning and trimming is less time than a heavy duty saw with a gasoline engine. When shopping for a cordless chainsaw, it seemed some were inadequate. This saw has a brushless motor, an onboard storage for the wrench, and a conveniently located push-button chain oiler. All of my Ryobi tools use the same batteries so buying this chainsaw priced "tool-only" saves on the cost. I am able to cut for a longer time period since the saw weighs only 10 pounds or perhaps a little over depending on the battery. It is also great to know that it comes with a full 3-year warranty.

Will be useful when we go out to collect firewood. I’ve never used a chainsaw before, and the instructions are a bit intimidating with all the warnings. Had hoped to use it for pruning smallish tree branches about 10 feet above the ground. But the instructions state to never operate the chainsaw from a ladder or above chest high because there is risk of kickback. The chainsaw requires the oil tank to be filled with Bar and Chain Lubricant before starting, so we’ll pick up Ryobi oil. The scabbard doesn’t click into place so it’s easily pulled off. After a lot of use, we would need to learn to file the teeth to sharpen them. With no experience yet, we’d probably take the chain to a professional for sharpening. We are looking forward to getting the experience we need to enjoy this handy chainsaw.

I was excited to receive this Ryobi chainsaw because I own other Ryobi tools and have been very satisfied with their performance and durability. It has an oil indicator window on the forward right hand side of the hand grip. It is childproof; it has a safety switch on the forward top side of the hand grip. The front hand guard does not fold back to stop kickback; it is locked into one position but the bar and chain are designed for low kickback. This chainsaw is suitable for light duty pruning, felling trees no larger than seven inches in diameter. I have tested it out on one of my trees and it was easy to use and did a satisfactory job, making clean cuts. It has a three year warranty.

The Ryobi One Plus 10 inch Chain Saw is sized perfectly for performing light to heavy brush cutting on limbs and twigs that are slightly too large for comfortably removing with a pair of tree shears, but, not large enough (or clear enough) to use a full-size chain saw. An overnight charge for the 4-Ahr Lithium-ion battery and a quick trip to the store for a quart of bar-and-chain oil was all it took to get this compact, light-weight chainsaw ready to cut. I removed a really tough, dead wood stump from my front lawn with this saw in just a few minutes. There was little noise to disturb the neighbors because the brushless electric motor runs very quietly and no oil smoke was visible in the air. A small dead tree at one corner of the front yard will provide the next task for using this power-packed, 10-inch, cordless electric chainsaw.

The New Ryobi 18volt 10 inch Chainsaw This new 10 inch 18 volt chainsaw from Ryobi is a BIG improvement over the previous Ryobi 10 inch 18 volt chainsaw. The first thing you will notice is the battery is located to the side, which turns out to be a better balance point for the saw. Then you immediately will appreciate the location of the lock out switch. It is much easier on your hand to press this switch forward while operating the saw. The original model required you to press a button in with the side of your thumb. Then you come to the actual reason you pulled out a chainsaw it actual cutting power. You will find this new model really does deliver a stronger pull on the cutting chain. That pull being stronger eliminates the saw from "bogging down" as you make the cut. They advertise 85% more power, I will attest to the fact it will cut down on the amount of bogging down experienced with the previous model. If you need to trim trees, cut beams or just "bucking" a few limbs this is the saw to pick up. It does not have the weight or vibration you will find with the gas models. Even if you are going to clear a path in front of your vehicle, this saw will get the job done, in most cases. With the variation in batteries available you can increase your use time to compete with hauling a gas model along in your vehicle.
