A:  I don't remember my model number, but it Didn't fit. I made it Fit. You have to drill your own hole in impact body, and do some minor grinding to clip. Been holding strong for 2 years now.

A:  There's a screw hole at the rear of the battery mount - one on the left side, should also be one on the right side. The bit holder bolts on there.

A:  This clip mounts on the side of drill just above the battery

A:  Look towards the back edge where the back of the battery meets the body of the drill on the side, there is a brass insert. It will work on either side 

A:  The screw goes through the bit holder and into a threaded sleeve mounted on either side of the drill. It is not in the front but in the back of the side.

If your drill does not have the hole for the belt clip then you are unable to attach it. A:  This is specifically for the HP Compact line. You shouldn't need to add any holes to attach this belt clip.

A:  There is a screw hole on the side of the bottom of the handle, where it meets the battery. Fair warning, the screw comes loose with use, and the clip isn't very sturdy.

A:  Some Ryobi drill and driver models have a bolt below the handle to attach this clip.

A:  No, these clips are only for the latest generation of Ryobi tool designed for these clips. Sadly later generations don’t have the ability to add belt clips and bit holds
