    Answer This Question

A:  No, it is designed for any pop up spray.

A:  No I made the same mistake it’s only for the smaller size.

A:  I used it on a Tora popup which has about a 1" diameter popup. I don't believe that it will open up enough for the wider diameters

A:  Not sure. I do not think so.

A:  The 5000 series are rotors. This tool does not open wide enough for rotors. It is only for non-rotor pop-up sprinklers.

A:  Yes.... it will make the job much easier.

A:  If it is missing I would say no because there is nothing to grap onto. If its broken, it would depend on how much of the nozzle is left for the tool to grap

A:  Probably not. You'll either have to unscrew the top housing (cap) to thread new nozzle onto the riser ( Note: when unscrewing cap be sure NOT to unscrew the body from the inlet) or dig the whole thing up and replace entire unit.

A:  It probably wouldn't be of much help to pull up the shaft, but once you get the shaft pulled up, it will perform its second function, to clip onto the shaft to keep it from springing back into the body of the sprinkler. It's designed to grab onto the nozzle.

A:  This tool can be used to pull up the shaft of the sprinkler. Then you would be able to grab it with your hand and clamp the tool around the base to hold it while you screw a nozzle onto the top. If the threads are damaged this will not be able to fix that issue though.
