A:  I purchased this area rug for a high traffic area. It has been a year and it's excellent. It spot cleans very well. I use woolite carpet foam cleaner purchased at a grocery store. Color is still bright and has shown no wear as of yet. I will buy this carpet again for other areas.

The rug actually has both styles as towards the center of the rug the colors are more of a hot pink to red where as the border shows a light pink to medium pink which gives off the faded/distressed look.
